One of my ex boyfriends was explaining to his elderly grandparents about atomic physics and then suddenly segued into explaining ancient Welsh witchcraft. I looked around his grandparents’ home and found it was full of ancient wooden artefacts that looked as though they had been dredged out of a bog. Nobody knew what these were or what they were for but they assumed they were used for witchcraft. There were things that looked like masks and other things that looked like twisted hands.
Then suddenly I was seeing endless patterns made out of diagrams of organic molecules linked together. They were green and yellow and my ex boyfriend had made them. They went on in every direction as far as the eye could see.
Then I woke up.
